“The only abstraction in these works are the ideas… the images are earthy and often multidimensional – get ready to confront your preconceived ideas of The Desired One”.

Sam Abercromby

“The inauguration of the first exhibitions at the Centro Cultural de Lagos took place on January 26 at 5pm, with a good turnout of visitors, including the mayor of Lagos, Maria Joaquina Matos.

Sam Abercromby and João Vilhena were the first artists to present their works at this municipal facility, which reopened its doors on January 15.

Sebastianism Revisited, by Sam Abercromby is a painting exhibition that opened as part of the Commemorations of the Elevation of Lagos to City status, and which portrays one of the historical figures with a great relationship with the municipality, among them one of the most remarkable moments, the Elevation of Lagos to a city on January 27, 1573″.
